Privacy
In short: we collect what you type into the form so a person can answer your request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not send your request, your quote or your details to contractors. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

This website, localhandyman.directory, is run by Our Landmen LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”), which also runs finalist.cc. A list sent from this site goes to the same desk as a request sent on finalist.cc.

What we collect
- What you send us. When you press Send, the form sends your punch list (each item, the room, the kind of work, how soon, and your notes), the ZIP code where the work is, when you'd like it done, anything else you write about the job, your name and email, your phone number if you give it, and whether you can send photos.
- Server logs. Our host, Google, may log your IP address, browser and the pages requested when your browser loads the site. Those logs serve reliability and security.
Until you press Send, the list stays in your browser. Printing it, copying it or downloading it as a spreadsheet happens on your device and sends nothing to us. The buttons that open finalist.cc carry only the trade (handyman) in the address, never your details. What you type on finalist.cc is covered by its own privacy page.
How we use it
- To read your request and write back, with a scoping document, a benchmark note or questions.
- To write to you about that request.
- To keep spam and abuse off the site.
- To meet our obligations under state and federal law.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not send your request, your quote or your details to contractors, and we take no payment from contractors for referrals.
Who else handles it
- Google Cloud Platform and Firebase host the site and store form submissions (in Firestore).
- Email forwarding delivers mail sent to hello@localhandyman.directory to our inbox.
Your rights
You can ask us to send you a copy of what you sent, correct it or delete it. Email hello@localhandyman.directory with “Privacy request” in the subject. We check that the request comes from you before we act on it.
Keeping it safe
The site and the form use HTTPS (TLS), and Google encrypts stored data at rest. We keep a request as long as we need it to answer you.
